Fund for Best family set up after the officer’s tragic passing

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WPDE) — A funding site has been set up to support the family of fallen North Myrtle Beach police officer Gordon Best.

Sergeant Best was killed in a vehicle crash on Highway 17 S, near 39th Avenue S, while responding to a call at about 4:00 a.m.
