RALEIGH, NC (WWAY) — Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines will kick off the 2026 Girl Scout Cookie season on January 17th, and the season will run through March 8th.

A new cookie will join the lineup this year, Exploremores, a rocky road ice cream-inspired sandwich cookie. The cookie is filled with flavors of chocolate, marshmallow, and toasted almond-flavored creme.

If you don’t know a local Girl Scout selling cookies, you can use the Girl Scout Cookie Finder to find a local booth.

For those who still want to help but don’t want cookies, you can participate in Operation Cookie Drop. This is a donation program that delivers Girl Scout cookies to military members and local organizations.

Each cookie season, Girl Scouts develop important life skills like goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics through the Girl Scout Cookie Program. All proceeds from cookie sales stay with local councils and troops to power Girl Scouts’ amazing experiences year-round.
