Global snacks and sips arrive in Wilmington at Monaco Market
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — More than a week after opening, a new market in Wilmington is busy trying to restock its shelves due to local demand for its products.
Monaco Market recently opened on South College Road in Wilmington, making it the second location, the other in New Mexico.
The market sells snacks and drinks from around the world, including places like Dubai, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
Alongside the market, a ramen and boba bar has been placed inside for customers to order and enjoy.
Owner Prince Rayyan says the market is all about the people it hopes to serve.
“We just want people to come in, enjoy their time, and just experience something new in Wilmington,” said Rayyan.
Rayyan says a restock is coming later this week, with revolving shelf items to keep up with popular, trending snacks, like the Dubai chocolate.
