Going Beyond the Pink at Compass Pointe


BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Compass Pointe in Brunswick County is having a week full of activities to raise money to fight breast cancer.

All funds earned from the effort will go to the local non-profit organization Going Beyond the Pink.

The non-profit not only assists men and women suffering from breast cancer throughout the Cape Fear area with financial assistance, but also provides free educational resources and workshops to aid in prevention of the disease.

Pickleball and Tennis tournaments will take place April 14 – 21.

A golf tournament will be held at Compass Pointe’s new golf club April 20.

All athletic events are open to anyone in the area.

The main event will take place Saturday, April 21 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The all-day event will include live music, silent auction, dunk tank, luncheon, bake sale, wine wall and more. Admission is only $5 per person and everyone is invited.
