Good Shepherd Center hosting water drive for VIP Brad Paisley tickets

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Good Shepherd Center is partnering with Live Oak Bank Pavilion to give away two tickets and a VIP backstage tour to the upcoming Brad Paisley concert. 

Good Shepherd’s Summer Water Drive is an effort to collect bottled water during the hottest months of the year. 

Here’s how you can enter: drop off a case of bottled water at 811 Martin Street, Wilmington weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and fill out an entry form on-site. Each case of water equals one entry. 

Meagan Hutchings with Good Shepherd says water is a critical resource during the summer months. 

“Everyday we open to the community from 11 to 12 for lunch, and we see numbers sometimes upwards to 340 people who come through that lunch line, and so having water to be able to give during those lunch hours is really critical for those people who are going into unsheltered environments when they leave here,” she said. 

The contest runs through July 15. One lucky winner will be selected at random and notified directly.
