GOP wants hearing on New Hanover vote problems

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The New Hanover County Republican Party wants an open hearing on problems voters had last week on Election Day.

County GOP chair Alex Dale sent a letter yesterday to the New Hanover County Board of Eelections asking for the hearing to discuss voting irregularities and issues. Among the issues Dale outlined: wrong ballots, precinct staff not knowing what to do and equipment problems.

Dale says it’s not a partisan issue. He said the problems impact all voters.
