Humane society pleads for help after kitten found with bullet in spine

The Grand Strand Humane Society is asking for help after a kitten was found with a bullet lodged in her spine.

The kitten was found in downtown Myrtle Beach and taken in by animal control because she couldn’t move her back legs, according to the group’s posting on Facebook.

The group was not sure what happened but wanted to help the kitten.

“As you all know, GSHS strives to do everything we can for each and every animal that comes through our doors. We are hoping that someone may be able to help this babe by donating to her emergency care so we can determine the best course of action. We know it will be at least $150 to begin to pursue a diagnosis,” the group posted on Facebook.
