Gunfire reported throughout Wilmington Sunday

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — After a fatal shooting Sunday morning, Wilmington residents reported gunfire in two other locations.

A WPD spokeswoman said one of the reports came from the intersection of 17th Street and Medical Center Drive. The next one came from the intersection of Graham Street and Sumter Drive.

Police said there were no injuries or damage reported at these locations, but there is a possibility that they are related to the fatal shooting early Sunday morning.

Corporal Leslie Irving said police have been dealing with shootings off and on all week.
