Habitat for Humanity’s new ReStore in Leland
LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity has opened a brand-new “ReStore” in Leland.
The nonprofit organization held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially open the store to the public.
The ReStore sells both new and gently used items, offering everything from furniture and appliances to building materials and home décor.
Jason Gaver, with Brunswick County Habitat for Humanity, shared how the store plays a key role in their ongoing efforts. “Every donation that comes in gets turned around, and the profits go directly back into our operating account, which allows us to build more homes for those who need a hand up,” he explained.
Habitat for Humanity accepts donations at the store, and volunteers are available to assist with unloading or loading items at the loading dock.
