Halloween night was ‘quieter’ than previous years

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington Police Department confirmed no significant accidents happened on Halloween night.

There was a checkpoint in New Hanover County, but the number of DWI tickets given was not immediately available.

One WPD sergeant said it was a quieter than usual Halloween night in Wilmington.
