Harbor Island Garden Club looking to lease top floor of Wrightsville Beach Bordeaux Cottage
WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Harbor Island Garden Club is looking to lease the top floor of the Bordeaux Cottage in Wrightsville Beach.
The Wrightsville Beach Board of Aldermen is meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday to consider the club’s letter of intent.
The lease would run from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 at a cost of $50 per month or $600 per year.
If approved, the space is to be used as an office, event and program space for its members, local residents and visitors.
The operating hours must be from 10:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except in the case of periodic weekend and evening meetings, special programming or events.
Officials say the Harbor Island Garden Club must receive approval from the town before making any structural modifications.
