Harlem Globetrotters perform at Trask Coliseum

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — One of the biggest names in sports entertainment put on a show in front of Wilmington fans on Tuesday night.
The Harlem Globetrotter made a stop at Trask Coliseum as part of their 100-year anniversary tour.
Those in attendance got to see a lot of high-flying hoops action as well as some humor in between plays.
For around the 27,000th time in their history, the Globetrotters defeated the Washington Generals. The final score was 108-106 in overtime.
Wilmington is also the birthplace of franchise icon Meadowlark Lemon.
