Haywood kicked off UNCW hoops team

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — UNCW has dismissed guard Jarvis Haywood from the men’s basketball team.

“Jarvis did not comply with the team rules and standards we have for our basketball program,” Head Coach Kevin Keatts said. “We wish him well in the future.”

The 6’4″, 185-pound redshirt junior from Charlotte was recently suspended for violating team rules. Haywood transferred to UNCW from Jacksonville University.
