Help Columbus County Sheriff’s Office identify a person of interest in counterfeit case

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man involved in passing counterfeit $100 bills at local convenience stores, as well as stores in Brunswick and Wilmington, including Dollar General, Family Dollar, and Dollar Tree.
According to the CCSO’s Facebook post, this individual is targeting businesses with counterfeit $100 bills that are not being detected by standard counterfeit markers.
