HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: See dramatic finish in Topsail win, Laney sails with ease

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Topsail never led on Wednesday until less than 30 seconds in the fourth quarter. Nobody is complaining though in Hampstead. The Pirates edged West Brunswick 14-13 in dramatic fashion. We were there from start to finish for the Mideastern Conference showdown.

Don’t look now, but Laney is off to a 2-0 start in the Mideastern Conference. Laney shutout South Brunswick 38-0 on Wednesday.
