Hit-and-run on Cape Fear Memorial Bridge

WILMINGTON NC (WWAY) — Officials are investigating a hit-and-run that happened Friday night on Cape Fear Memorial Bridge.

According to Wilmington Police, it happened around 10:00 p.m. in the eastbound lane. Two vehicles were involved but one drove off at a high speed towards Brunswick County. The suspect vehicle is described as a Mustang. One person was taken to Cape Fear Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
