Hoggard dominates with 6-0 win over Willow Spring

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) – In the 3rd round of the NCHSAA girls soccer tournament, top-seeded Hoggard took down Willow Spring 6-0 on Monday.

Just over five minutes in, Brielle Archer sprinted down the field to get to the ball and passed two defenders along the way. She shot the ball into the net to open the scoring. Archer would score four goals before halftime while Ellis Kelly added another before the break.

Hoggard will next face Ashley on Thursday. The Vikings will host that game and split their two meetings with the Eagles this year.
