Horry Co. officer on administrative leave after beachgoer struck, killed by patrol truck
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — An Horry County Police Dept. officer is on administrative leave after a beachgoer was struck and killed by a patrol vehicle in the Myrtle Beach area Thursday afternoon, according to a statement from Mikayla Moskov, the Director of Public Information.
The incident happened at the Nash Street beach access near Springmaid Pier just after 1:00 p.m.
