Models show a strong heat dome building across the east next Wednesday bringing hot and humid weather while squashing any rain chances. Temps into the upper 90s or lower 100s are possible Friday and 4th of July weekend. Heat alerts will more than likely be issued. Make sure to stay cool and hydrated by drinking plenty of water.
