Poultry plant set to reopen after 2017 fire, seeking applicants

DUPLIN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — After a fire tore through the plant last February at its Duplin County location, House of Raeford Farms is on track to open its new processing facility this summer.

House of Raeford is accepting applications for hourly production positions in a variety of departments.

Those interested in applying should visit their website for more information or attend the June 11 job fair. That’s from from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Butterball Road in Teachey.

The company’s CEO and owner says they’ve been working to rebuild the Wallace location.
