How to learn and love Frogs
LELAND, NC (WWAY)– On Saturday, The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher invited volunteers to be certified FrogWatch USA volunteers, by participating in the community science of frog and toad conservation, at the Leland Cultural Arts Center.
Kids and families learned to identify frog species, hear toad calls, and see where they live.
It is a two-day volunteer training, with the second day being held next Saturday, February 14th. Volunteer must have attended both days to become certified.
