‘How’s Howie’ page gets international attention
BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A Brunswick County Beagle is slowly but surely becoming a very popular pooch.
Howie was rescued by the Brunswick County Animal Protective Services, but the puppy doesn’t have the use of his back legs. Thanks to a Facebook page and the outpouring of support, Howie was able to get a wheelchair fitted just for him.
His story has now reached outside of our area and even the country!
“Today we started getting Facebook comments in French, and wondered where and why they were suddenly coming,” a post on the page reads. “It seems Howie is now an INTERNATIONAL STAR!”
