I-140 East Bound closed due to two-vehicle accident

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — New Hanover County Fire Rescue is responding to a two-vehicle accident on I-140.

A spokesperson with New Hanover County says there are injuries but has not released any more information regarding the severity.

With emergency crews on the scene and an overturned vehicle, I-140 East Bound is closed due to the wreck on the Dan Cameron Bridge near the exit for HWY 421.

WWAY has called N.C. Highway Patrol for more information.
