ILM sees ‘typical’ traffic over holiday weekend
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– The folks at ILM International Airport said today has been pretty average as far as Monday travel is concerned.
Deputy Director Gary Broughton said today flights were about 80% full, which is typical for a Monday. He said there were between 1,000 and 1,100 flyers going through the airport.
He said they are expecting tomorrow to be a little busier as business travelers head back to work.
Broughton said Memorial Day is more of a driving holiday than a flying one for folks in this area.
