Increasing temperatures throughout rest of week

(WWAY) — After a rainy couple of days, rain chances will decrease as temperatures increase towards the end of the week.
A stalled frontal boundary will remain across the region through this afternoon, bringing increased chances for showers and thunderstorms while providing a nice break from the recent heat. Tonight brings scattered showers and thunderstorms with lows in the low 70s. Cooler temperatures this afternoon, ranging from the middle to upper 80s, with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms expected. By midweek, the front will move away as a ridge of high pressure builds over the Southeast, allowing heat and humidity to return. Temperatures will begin climbing on Thursday, with afternoon highs reaching the mid to upper 90s.
WWAY FORECAST:
Today: A chance for showers and storms. High in the middle to upper 80s.
Wednesday: A few isolated showers and storms in the afternoon. Seasonable high temps in the lower 90s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny skies with temperatures into the middle to upper 90s.
