Independence Mall auction now planned for April 7

WILMINGTON, NC (StarNews) — The long-in-the-works foreclosure auction for Independence Mall has been delayed for the fifth time.

The auction, which was most recently set for Feb. 24, has been rescheduled to 11 a.m. April 7, according to attorney Andrew McVey, who has been handling the public auction procedure.
