Ingram Planetarium, Museum of Coastal Carolina to gost preschool STEM day

OCEAN ISLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The Ingram Planetarium and the Museum of Coastal Carolina will be hosting a preschool day to engage kids in STEM activities. 

Those interested can attend the event on February 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be activities for preschoolers at the Museum of Coastal Carolina including a Sea Tales program at 11:30 in the morning. Kids can explore the ocean throughout the museum and even make a scuba mask, complete a photo book, practice measuring fish, and practice writing and cutting skills.

The Ingram Planetarium will have their newest dome theater show “One World, One Big Sky Big Bird’s Adventure” with Big Bird and Elmo from Sesame Street. In the Science Hall, kids will be able to practice lacing skills to make constellations, explore patterns of planets, catch a falling star and make a telescope.
