Intermittent road closures planned through mid-May for utility pole replacement in Carolina Beach

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Traffic delays are possible in parts of Carolina Beach through mid-May due to a utility pole replacement project.

Duke Energy will be conducting the work along Lake Park Blvd., between Florence Ave. and Hamlet Ave.

During the project, there will be intermittent closures of one southbound lane on Lake Park Blvd.

You are asked to use caution when traveling in the project areas.
