Investigation underway after Columbus County school bus stolen, another vandalized

COLUMBUS COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Columbus County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after two school bus incidents early Tuesday morning.
Officials say a bus driver arrived to West Columbus High School for her normal route and found her bus had been vandalized and another bus had been stolen.
The principal and SRO were called.
The first bus was able to be fixed to be able to continue her route. The other bus was found and returned to school property to be fixed.
This investigation is ongoing.
