Investigation underway after man found dead in Kure Beach
KURE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Authorities are investigating after a man was found dead Sunday morning in Kure Beach.
Officials with Kure Beach Police, Kure Beach Fire Department and New Hanover Regional EMS were dispatched around 9:15 a.m. on February 22 to 209 S. Fort Fisher Blvd. in reference to a deceased individual.
Police identified the man as 55-year-old Brian Edward Wilson.
Kure Beach Police are continuing to investigate. The North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
