Jacksonville officer killed near Camp Lejeune school incident
JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Jacksonville Police are confirming that the one fatality from a security incident near Camp Lejeune’s Tarawa Terrace Elementary School Tuesday is one of their officers.
They say at this time they will not be releasing the officer’s name since it is an active NCIS investigation. They also said that Tuesday was an off-duty incident.
