Join the Grease Monkey ladies: Learn about your car

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Ladies, after this weekend, you’ll never have to worry about getting a flat tire again – because you’ll know how to fix it.

On Saturday, join the Grease Monkey Lady Gang at Matthews Motors for a fun and educational day about cars.

From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 5723 Market Street in Wilmington, learn about basic car repairs, how to change a tire, how to check your oil and more. Complementary food and drinks will be provided along with swag bags full of coupons and more.

The Grease Monkey Lady Gang was formed as a way to educate and empower women through community events and educational classes. While the group is focused on women, men are encouraged to join – but only if they know the password:”Girls Rule The World”.
