July 4th concert lineup at Camp Lejeune includes Lifehouse performance

CAMP LEJEUNE, NC (WWAY/USMC Press Release) — Camp Lejeune’s 4th of July Celebration is bringing more entertainment than it has ever before.  Multi-platinum award-winning rock band Lifehouse headlines this year’s celebration which includes a FREE concert from a lineup of great entertainment, plus the area’s biggest fireworks display.

Lifehouse has sold more than 15 million albums, generated 18 Billboard hits, and was named one of the “Greatest of All Time Adult Pop Song Artists” by both Billboard and Spotify.

Base officials say this year’s Independence Day concert also features performances from:

– Brett Young, country music artist
– Chord Overstreet, star of “Glee” and 2017 Billboard “Artist to Watch”
– Muddy Magnolias, CMA Music Fest’s “Must-See Acts”
– Temecula Road, 2017 Radio Disney’s “Next Big Thing”
– DJ Spin Doc

The evening will culminate with the end with a massive fireworks display.

The July 4th Celebration is the ultimate setting to celebrate America’s Birthday with those who serve to protect our freedom aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune.

Food & Beverage: A variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase. Patrons are permitted to bring coolers (no glass containers or alcoholic beverages).

Prohibited Items: The following items are prohibited: personal fireworks (including sparklers); outside alcoholic beverages; controlled illegal substances and their associated paraphernalia; weapons; Tasers; stun guns; tents including shade tents; and grills. All items will be confiscated. No pets allowed. Verified, registered service animals are permitted.

Directions & Parking: You may access the event using both the Main Gate and Wilson Gate both located off HWY 24. Primary parking will be at the Camp Lejeune Main Exchange Parking Lot with overflow parking at the Wallace Creek Fitness Center. No roadside parking will be permitted.

Shuttle Service: A FREE shuttle service will transport guests from both parking lot locations to and from the venue site starting at 3 PM. We anticipate a large crowd at this celebration and strongly encourage everyone to carpool and arrive early.

Security: For your protection, security checkpoints will be at the entrance to the field and bags (to include backpacks and purses) will be searched.

Inclement Weather: In case of inclement weather, only the fireworks will be rescheduled for July 5 and not open to the general public.
