JUST IN: Lake Waccamaw Mayor Pro-Tem passes away

LAKE WACCAMAW, NC (WWAY) – The Town of Lake Waccamaw is grieving this Father’s Day weekend with the news of Jimmy Stanley’s passing.

Mayor Dan Hilburn confirmed with WWAY’s Andrew James that the Mayor Pro-Tem passed away at his home Saturday.

The town has officially published a notice of Stanley’s passing on their web page.
