Lane of Wrightsville Avenue at Eastwood Road closed for sewer repair

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A lane of Wrightsville Avenue between Eastwood Road and is closed effective immediately Thursday, August 21, for an emergency sewer repair.

The righthand, westbound lane of the 7200 block of Wrightsville Avenue, adjacent to Grand View Apartments, is closed. Traffic is shifted into a single westbound lane.

Turning traffic from and onto Wrightsville Avenue, Canal Street, and Summer Rest Road are not impacted.

The closure is expected to remain in place for approximately 5 hours.
