Laney comes up empty on Monday against Lee County

Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — It took four days to complete the game, but Lee County gets to head back to Sanford with a victory over Laney High School. Lee defeated Laney 22-0 in a game that started on Thursday, but had to be completed on Monday due a suspension in play last Thursday due to a lightning sighting, lightning that was 38 miles away.
