Lara Trump heads back to hometown on the campaign trail

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — With just eight days left until the end of the election, Lara Trump made her way back to her hometown again tonight to campaign for her father-in-law and to encourage people to head to the polls.

Dozens came out to the Yacht Club parking lot in Wrightsville Beach to to see Lara and show their support for Trump in the race for the White House.

Lara said already the number of people heading to the polls this election has been great and she hopes stops like tonight on the Women for Trump Tour encourage even more to vote before or on Election Day. She said it’s hard to believe things are finally coming to an end.

“You know 18 months ago when my father in law first announced her was running for president, a lot of people didn’t give him a chance. And I’m so proud of how far this campaign has come and where he has come and the movement really that has been created behind him,” said Trump.

She said one one of her favorite parts of being on the campaign trail is going out everyday and talking with people around the country about their experiences and why they’re voting in this election.
