Legends and Landmarks Art Show up at Bellamy Mansion Museum

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Bellamy Mansion Museum is hosting their first art show of 2026 with an Artist’s Reception to follow.
In honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary, James “Jim” Horton has over 40 original paintings and drawings that highlight historic scenes and places from around the region and county.
The exhibit in the gallery space at the Museum depicts the beauty of the past and present including St. James Church, Airlie’s 500-year old live oak, and Revolutionary War Battle Scenes.
The Artist’s Reception will be held on Friday, February 27 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Visitors can stop by the Carriage House Visitor Center any day of the week to view the exhibit for free.
