Leland cancels Aug. 27 concert due to potential inclement weather

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Leland has canceled Thursday’s Live in Leland concert due to the potential for inclement weather.

The concert featuring The British Invaders was scheduled for Aug. 27 at Founders Park.

The Live in Leland series will continue Sept. 3 with performances by Dear MariBella and the Pigkickers.

The Sept. 3 event will include live music, local food trucks, a beer garden and yard games. It is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. at Founders Park, located at 113 Town Hall Drive.

The town said information about road closures, parking and any additional event changes related to inclement weather will be announced in advance through its website and social media channels.
