Leland Police Department releases ‘citizen satisfaction’ survey

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Leland Police Department wants to hear from residents.
The department is gathering responses to its first ever ‘citizen satisfaction’ survey.
The survey was sent out to homeowners associations throughout Leland, with the HOA then emailing the survey to residents.
Leland Police Lieutenant Dallas Warren says this will allow residents to engage with the department while showing they are there to help the community.
“I think its just important that they understand that we’re here for them and the fact that we care about their input and engaging with them should hopefully show that we care about their well-being and that we’re here to serve them as best we can,” Warren said.
The survey will continue for around 60 days.
