List of street closures planned for NC Blueberry Festival

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — Thousands of people are expected to attend the NC Blueberry Festival in Burgaw.

Due to the crowds, several streets will be closed to allow for a safe experience.

On June 14th and 15th, the following closures will be in place:

  • Half of Dudley Street from Wilmington Street to Fremont Street to be closed at 3pm on Friday, June 14th until 10am on Saturday, June 15th for the conducting of the BBQ cook-off event.
  • Wright Street from Wilmington Street to Fremont Street to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Courthouse Avenue and adjunct ally to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Fremont Street from Walker Street to Wright Street will be closed at 9:30pm on Thursday, June 13th until 12noon on Sunday, June 16th.
  • Walker Street from Wilmington Street to Fremont Street to be closed at 5:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Walker Street from Fremont Street to Satchwell Street to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Fremont Street from Walker Street to Cowan Street to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Fremont Street from Wright Street to Dudley Street to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Wright Street from Fremont Street to Satchwell Street to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Dickerson Street from Wilmington Street to Fremont Street to be closed at 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Dickerson Street from Fremont Street to Satchwell Street to be closed from 10:30pm on Friday, June 14th until 11pm on Saturday, June 15th.
  • Satchwell Street between Dickerson Street and Dudley Street to be closed from 6am on Saturday, June 15th until 6pm on Saturday, June 15th.

This is the 21st annual Blueberry Festival.
