Local stuntman makes an appearance in final season of ‘Stranger Things’

NEW HANOVER COUNTY (WWAY) — A local stuntman pulled off the cameo of the season, making a surprise appearance in a world-renowned TV franchise. 

Dane Britt, on the left, owner of DB Private Training, is a local stuntman who made an appearance in an episode of the final season of “Stranger Things.” 

In episode two, Britt appeared in a flashback as one of Kali’s friends — the sister of main character Eleven. 

Already having a similar appearance and build to the character, Britt was the perfect stuntman for the job. 

He says he had to fall with finesse.    

“Sometimes they want to try different things, or have you fall different ways, or try to get different angles on it, things like that. We had to do the, the actual fall itself, probably 40 or 50 times,” said Britt. 

Britt says it was an honor to be a part of the final season, especially for such a popular franchise.
