Lumberton police charge woman in weekend deadly shooting

Lumberton, N.C. (WPDE) — Angela Simone Irons, 46 is charged with first degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in the death of Kenneth Wayne Bryant,41, according to Captain Terry Parker with Lumberton police.

Bryant was found shot to death Saturday night on East 9th Street in Lumberton.

The Robeson County District Attorney’s office assisted in the investigation.

Irons is being held in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
