Man accused in murder, arson indicted by grand jury
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The man accused of setting a fire that killed two people in December has now been indicted by a grand jury on several charges.
Wilmington Police say Harry Levert Davis, 23, set a fire Dec. 23 at 1901 Lingo St., that killed Pamela Pickett, 51, and Makayla Pickett, 14. Police say Davis was arrested by after a brief chase on Dec. 24 in Wilmington for unrelated charges.
According to court officials, Davis was indicted last week on charges including first degree murder, first degree arson and first degree attempted murder. In all, Davis was indicted on 10 charges.
