Man arrested after a police chase in Wilmington
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Police attempted to stop 28-year-old Phillip Michael Morris early Sunday morning.
The chase started near Greenfield Street around 12:30 a.m. and ended on South College Road and Pinecliff Drive.
Wilmington Police Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay confirmed that Morris was charged with a DWI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen credit cards, felony flee to elude, driving left of center, aggressive driving, failure to stop at a stop sign and possession of stolen goods.
Morris is being held on a more than $200,000 bond.
