Man arrested for allegedly waving gun around outside Wilmington bar

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A man has been arrested for allegedly waving a gun around outside a Wilmington bar.
The Wilmington Police Department Downtown Task Force responded around 9:30 p.m. Sunday to the 100 block of S. Front Street.
The call was about a man who had been previously banned from a bar who had returned. While the man, identified as 38-year-old Noel Dolliole of Wilmington, was outside, police say he started waving a handgun around.
Witnesses on scene stated that Dolliole had been displaying the gun around other locations downtown as well.
A bar employee was able to remove the firearm from Dolliole prior to officers arriving.
Dolliole was charged with Going armed to the Terror of the Public, 2nd Degree Trespass and Concealing a Firearm after Consuming on a Prohibited Premise.
He was place under a $5,000 secured bond.
