Man arrested in early morning stabbing in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing that happened early Wednesday morning, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Officers responded to a call around 4:20 a.m. in the 500 block of Clay Street, where they found a man with severe lacerations and stab wounds. The victim’s condition has not been released.
After an initial investigation, police identified Rashawn Graham as a suspect. He was located and arrested in the 700 block of Emory Street, where officers say they also recovered a bloody knife.
Graham has been charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury and Resisting, Delaying, or Obstructing an officer. He is currently being held at the New Hanover County Detention Center under a $15,200 secure bond.
