Man charged after woman’s body found outside of laundromat
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) – Horry County police have arrested a Myrtle Beach man in connection with the stabbing death of a woman whose body was found outside of a laundromat.
Local media outlets report Jon Paul Joseph Marston is charged with murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Police identified the victim as 65-year-old Wanda Wohnig of Myrtle Beach. She was pronounced dead at the scene, and Horry County Deputy Coroner to Darris Fowler confirmed that she was stabbed to death.
WMBF-TV in Myrtle Beach reports a man identified as the victim’s brother said Wohnig opened and closed the laundromat for years.
