Man charged with attempted first-degree murder after allegedly stabbing wife

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A woman called 911 after her husband allegedly stabbed her multiple times on Friday.
According to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office, the call came in from Casey Hall of a reported stabbing around 12:15 a.m.
Hall reported her 42-year-old husband Adrian Currie of Bladenboro stabbed her and was still at the residence.
When deputies arrived, they found Hall suffering from stab wounds to her head and chest. Hall was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center in critical conditions. She has since been released from the hospital.
Currie was taken into custody at the residence and charged with attempted first-degree murder and given no bond. He is currently being held at the Bladen County Detention Center.
