Man charged with domestic violence, murder makes first court appearance
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A man charged with domestic violence and first degree murder made his first court appearance Wednesday morning.
Darius Tyshaun Williams had a $100,000 secured bond set for the domestic violence charges, with no bond for the murder charge.
Williams is facing 39 months on the three felonies, and 150 days for the misdemeanor.
The public defender’s office will represent Williams on the domestic charges.
The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office arrested Darius Tyshaun Williams Tuesday evening for the homicide of Cynthia Danielle Allen.
Deputies say they went to a home in the 5000 block of Bavarian Lane and found Allen dead inside the home on Monday.
